The movie made by Nora Ephron is adapted from the true-life story of Julie Powell, who as a bored hosewife started a Blog that went through Mastering The Art of French Cooking recipe by recipe, with blog post of each recipe and dish.
Powell's blog caught on and become a phenomenom that caught the attention of Ephron who wanted to make it into a movie. Ephron Directed the movie called Julie & Julia, and wrote the Screenplay along with Powell.
